Infortrend FC/SAS
EonStor DS FC RAID, 16 disks
As opposed to the series of SATA RAIDs the EonStor DS FC RAID series also supports Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) disks. These highly performant disks with 15,000 rpm make these RAIDs a perfect match for database and other i/o intensive applications.
The new series based on the faster G7 controller offer nearly twice the i/o performance compared to previous versions.
Some systems optionally offer replication to another system and thin provisioning (cf. datasheet).
Switches for 4 and 8 Gbit FC can be found unter QLogic Switches.
For systems with 2.5" disks cf. Infortrend FC/SAS 2.5".
