ES-1008SAS with 8 disks
Compact RAID towers with still high capacity are especially required in office environments. The new ES-1008 Tower are equipped with 6 Gbit interface. As each SAS port has 4 parallel connections, SAS-2 is the fastest of the existing storage busses.
areca ES-1008 RAID Tower combine fast and flexible host connection with performant Areca RAID controllers, the same that are also built in ES-6600 RAID systems. The towers can be shipped also partially populated and the RAID sets can be expanded at any later time, without losing existing data. The last volume can then be expanded to the new size or a new additional one can be created within the same RAID set.
ES-1008 Tower can also be offered USB-3, FireWire and iSCSI interface.
