SANbox 5802V 8 Gbit Fabric Switch
Fibre Channel switches are the heart of a Storage Area Network (SAN). EUROstor offers QLogic SANbox 3810 and the scalable 5800 series which are very reliable and perfectly work together with QLogic's host bus adapters and with EUROstor RAID systems. 8 Gbit switches work with 4 and 2 Gbit products as well.
Switches of the SANbox 5800 series, as opposed to the compact SANbox 3810, can be easily upgraded at a later time up to 20 ports in steps of 4, and cascaded to an amount of 120 ports in 6 boxes.
EUROstor also recommends the use of QLogic host adapters to build up a storage network.
