With ES-8200I iSCSI RAID systems EUROstor offers active&/active redundant controller also for iSCSI RAIDs. As opposed to ES-6200I they furthermore support SAS disks.
As iSCSI is more and more being used also for performance critical applications like databases, Exchange Server etc., it is important that also i/o optimized fast spinning disks can be used. With SAS support, also expansion over SAS ports has been added to the features. Now 64 disks (dual controller: 48 disks) can be addressed. This makes ES-8200 iSCSI RAID also interesting for bigger archiving solutions, where up to 64 TB can be achieved with 1 TB SATA disks.

ES-8200I are identical to Infortrend S16E-G1130 etc.
